Who's That Girl?

I can safely say that never before have I lusted so much after almost every single item in one runway show as Vanessa Bruno's A/W 2010 triumph in Paris. Delicate detailing upon floaty slips with just the right amount of flounce were juxtaposed by the sturdy woolen coats, lashings of leather and faux fur: all paraded down the runway atop woolen over-the knee socks, tucked into the most sumptuous of leather boots. Effortless, thrown-together and utterly irresistible: the whole collection has a cosy, eclectic and quintessentially autumnal feel in a palette of muted neutrals and dark shades. The result is a minimally, yet impeccably styled and incredibly wearable delight, with plenty of quintessentially Gallic 'Je ne sais quoi'. Here's my pick of Bruno's best, Enjoy!
Sumptuous leather-on-leather softened by complimentary tones
My favourite dress of the collection,
I can imagine it'd be just as gorgeous
with bare legs and a tan.
subtly accessorized for an understated take on the
bohemian gilet
The perfect A/W LBD (Long Black Dress)
The perfect casual autumn jacket

Vanessa Bruno herself, looking trés chic in head to toe black,
chanelling the sheer trend. So much of her own persona style is
evident within this collection, notably here with the chunky black boots,
 toughening up the floaty layers.
